..... and dilapidated. Been painting the kitchen and the cost of paint and materials is exorbitant compared to the UK.

Paid 1900 pesos for another 4 litre of emulsion paint. Just had a look and you get twice that amount of a top branded paint for the same price in the UK.

Made here as far as I know Rice. It's a brand called ALBA and supposed to be one of the best.....which is open to question if you ask me.

Paint has always been expensive for some reason.

Nae wonder it's expensive. There doesn't seem to be any shortage of customers for it as their shop has been there for years and is always busy.

Now about to make a start on painting the door and window and that'll be the kitchen finished. To confirm GlasgowJohn was correct here's a picture of an Alba tin. This stuff is even more expensive than the paint for the walls!!!
