And is it a beauty! Best of all, the gap between Retiro and Belgrano stations on the Mitre line has been re-filled after 2 long years.

This is old news, as it opened Sept 17, but maybe some of you missed it earlier, as I did.

Ambra and Carlos tell us that the Belgrano station is even more gorgeous. It was so in need of a complete re-do.

But Lisandro de la Torre didn’t even have a hut! When we left the train there after dark, it was a little disconcerting.

Love, love, LOVE the elevated tracks, for safety, efficiency and aesthetic appeal.

I’m afraid that Macri’s popularity has suffered, rather than improved, because of funds spent on infrastructure. But what a great investment in the future.
