UK Supreme Court overturns suspension of parliament

In a historic and unanimous judgement, the Supreme Court has ruled against Boris Johnson and MPs will return to their seats tomorrow.

This has opened up calls for Johnson to resign and some are suggesting that an emergency government should now be put in place to replace him.

It's also put the monarchy in a 'hideous' position i.e the Royal Prerogative has been ruled unlawful.

The fact is, Johnson cannot rule the United Kingdom as if he were the dictator of some South American banana republic and his actions have been called out for what they are.

As one pundit put it, "It's all gone horribly wrong for Mr Johnson..."

He's also being asked to explain a possible conflict of interest with an American businesswoman, Jennifer Acruri (pictured) who accompanied him on numerous foreign trips at the taxpayers' expense.

Warning - very strong language.

Johnson is bending and stretching the rules till breaking point, which has always been his game plan as far as I can see and he clearly sees attack as the best form of defence.

He's now been defeated seven times in the house, most recently on his proposal to recess parliament for the Tory Party conference - in itself a laughable idea.

He shows no sign of repentance in the face of the supreme court ruling and is more defiant than ever, it seems, which could ultimately be his downfall, as it was for Thatcher.

He's also goading the Labour Party in their desire for a general election - even though we know that Corbyn is fearful of the outcome - when he knows damn well that the earliest date would be around November 7th, well past the 31st October Brexit deadline.

Even his own sister has put the knife in. (His brother left the party some weeks ago)
