    Thomas Cook, one of the longest lasting travel companies in the world (1841), collapsed this morning which has left thousands of holiday makers stranded all over the world.

    Over the last few days there were calls for the government to take a stake i.e a bailout. I personally feel they were right not to, but were right to sponsor the 'rescue' flights, since all Thomas Cook's planes have now been impounded.
