The guys who we buy beef from also keep cattle on our land. They now have Aberdeen Angus after they bought our Hereford herd.

Only if it continues to be good. The consistency of fresh products does seem to be a problem here...good quality that is. They don't have any problem offering bad quality. 😁

Didn't know what to have tonight until the missus carried out her Spanish Vice Consul duty. An Argentine family had an appointment with her to renew their Spanish passports. They kindly brought her a whole Sardo cheese made by monks as a present. In my opinion Sardo is the closest type of cheese you can get here to English Cheddar. So for dinner tonight it's going to be baked tatties half with grated sardo and tuna in the other.

Sardo is great and yes, very much like Cheddar.

Choripan tonight with a mate followed by lomito.

That sardo looks wonderful! We once brought a whole one back from Argentina to the US. Shared it with all friends and still had plenty left!

Yeah it was okay but nothing great to be honest. I've eaten better tasting mass produced cheddar from a UK supermarket.

Memory often makes us wistful for something wonderful in the old days or the old country, when in reality, things aren’t always that different in the here & now. Maybe it would be less disappointing to try to just compare one sardo with another?

In the meantime, I have something for you to fantasize over, UK Man . This ad was in our local newspaper this week:

Actually the sardo tasted a lot better today....much more flavour. Maybe, like a good wine, it just needed to breathe?

Should we assume they aren’t pancakes laced with Glenfiddich?

No such luck. The missus has them with maple syrup. I just spread butter on mine, sometimes with dulce de leche as well.

DDL sounds a lot better than Glenfiddich.

How do Scotch pancakes differ from ordinary pancakes?

They're thicker for a start. Made using flour, egg, sugar, milk and butter.

Chicken milanese the night. The missus will be having rabbit food with hers while I'll be having potato and egg salad with mine.

Go to the official website of MLSDev or search for the most recent information about their services and hire ios developers. Contact MLSDev: Look for a "Careers" or "Jobs" section on their website to find out if they are currently hiring iOS developers. If there's no such section, consider reaching out to them through their contact information or email listed on the website.

We’re having grilled salmon and rabbit food. As we are directly across Lake Michigan from Canada, whose wildfires have been out of control for nearly a month, we’ll be lighting the grill and running inside instead of hanging around outside.

Air quality just barely in the “unhealthy” range, but it’s enough to produce a haze everywhere.

Shepherd's Pie tonight done Argie style.

*Those Canadian wildfires could go on for a while unless it rains.
