The heat index here was 36c today and I suffered....dinner tonight was a cheese and ham toastie with a side salad. Couldn't face anything else.
What's for lunch/dinner today?

I’ll bet you are in for another month of really cold weather. Give me heat any time.

More like two, suppose to moderate a little next week. February is always cold.

I'll gladly swap this horrible heat for the cold anytime. I don't mind the odd day of heat but not when you have to go out and work in it. Thankfully it's only a few months of the year....It'd send me crazy if it was all year round.

Wait - I think we just hijacked @UK Man‘s food thread and merged it with the weather thread.
So what IS for lunch/dinner today? -

So what IS for lunch/dinner today? Not to worry Rice....after all, the weather does influence our appetite. I haven't been enoying my food recently due to the heat...I've been eating just for the sake of it. I did enjoy last nights dinner right enough due to the drop in temperature...chicken breast cooked on the plancha with chips and salad.

Late back home this evening....something I hate but as my wife says when in Argentina you do as the Argentinians do....eat dinner late.
With everything frozen I just bunged two potatoes in the air fryer and we had them with tuna/mayo and grated La Paulina Pategras....the tastiest patergras I've tasted.

Not sure I’ve ever tasted La Paulina pategras, though I do tend to like pategras. Where do you buy it, UK Man ?
At the cold meats and cheese counter in the towns Cooperative supermarket. If they sell it here it must be available in the capital. 630 pesos a kilo.

The wife's homemade pizza..thankfully this one was ten times better than the last one. Helped no doubt that we ate it at a sensible hour...before 8pm. Might get away with not having to have a Taural/Ranitidine tonight.

Taural/Ranitidine? Sounds Maori/American!

Excess acid relief Rice. I took one before going to bed just as a precaution.
What you having for breakfast? I had corn flakes, yougurt, slice of toast with butter and peach jam. Plenty of coffee.
