It sounds as if they can plant a tree with profit they make from advertisers, at a rate of one tree per 0.8 second on their browser extension.
Am I becoming so paranoid about security that I’m thinking twice about downloading anything at all, even though this sounds like a far better use of browser profit than simply lining the pockets of google, etc?

I'm not sure how it works, but we do need more trees.
In my town they seem intent on cutting them down because they get in the way of overhead electricity cables, new buildings and CCTV. Which is strange considering the ballyhoo the council chief at the time made after the tornado blew many of the old ones down in the squares. What a show he and his suited hangers on put on all in the name of 'saving the planet' when they were pictured replacing them with a couple of saplings....all they did was shovel a couple of spade fulls of soil as the holes had already been dug by the minions.

Watched a programme last night about the bridge collapse in Genoa. I now understand where this country inherits its dodgy politicians/business practices from...the Italians are to blame!! Sorry serafina.
