Nothing accomplished but a nice break for the workers who don't really care about the country's future.
As a Red Clydesider , I have always supported the right of workers to strike in support of a legitimate claim . However these general strikes are juts a joke and don't achieve anything.

I am totally convinced here that many workers see a strike a long weekend - I would love to see the absentee levels for the recent strikes which have been called mid week....
Maybe its me just getting old and cynical.....
