My feeling is that id the numbers in January get worse, there will be a very severe lockdown.
But with military control in the big conurbations.
That is my hunch

I don't think that Argentina has a military force big enough and prepared enough to deal with it. The ghost of the dictatorship is still alive here, and over the years they did everything possible to dismantle the military force as much as possible.
I too think that in late Autumn we will see another huge lockdown. I am considering enrolling into school just to have something to invest while locked up.
I got married twice in three days to my missus in Argentina. No wonder the country's in a mess!!

Ha ha. How did that happen?

Seemingly a church wedding wasn't enough back then. A suited civil servant pen pusher had to do it. No idea if it's still the same or not.

All to do with a civil wedding being recognised for official purposes whereas a church wedding wasn't. No idea if that's still the same or not.

It is still the same. In Argentina, religious weddings have no legal value.

I thought it very strange at the time but just went with the flow. The church wedding was definitely the bigger occasion of the two.
We went a to a wedding where the couple had already been married twice - once in the registry office and then a church. The part we went to was the country wedding.
I'm not sure I could tolerate that much ceremony.
