Photo sent earlier this month by Carlos, who reports that the new train bridge has cut travel time from Retiro to Vicente Lopez from 30 to 17 minutes. Progress!
“Extending from Av. Dorrego to Av. Congreso, this 3.9 km piece of infrastructure will undoubtedly make many people’s lives easier, from the Mitre train commuters to the car drivers who will find traffic much smoother thanks to the removal of eight railway barriers (Olleros, La Pampa, Sucre, Juramento, Mendoza, Olazábal, Blanco Encalada, and Monroe) as well as the opening of two new vehicular pass-throughs (Echeverría and Roosevelt).“
Have any of you tried the train since this gorgeous above-ground bridge opened?
