I wonder what the other two sculptures are, and what the remaining ones will be?
I wonder how much it cost? I'm afraid it does nowt for me.
Have never seen that. Is it a burger joint?
There is also the Chrysler Building on Av. Cabildo!
Here an article on both "monuments".
In my town in Italy, someone put a small scale Eiffel Tower in their garden. The owner (and sculptor) said to the local newspaper that he has received several requests of sale but that it is not available for purchase.

Someone here has one as well.
I’d forgotten the Chrysler Building on Cabildo, but remembered the Statue of Liberty. I think BsAs needs the Eiffel Tower and the Houses of Parliament too.

Yup! Ituzaingo in provincia. They have an Eiffel tower and a leanin tower of (careful how I spell this...) Pisa. I think they have a few other famous monuments too, now. Oh, and don't forget the Lourdes Church and Grotto in -er- Lourdes, Santos Lugares, also in provincia.
bebopalula , I have been to the Lourdes Grotto, close to Hurlingham.
The Grotto was pretty grotty , i thought
I didn't know tumbleweeds were such a problem!
Which part of the States would this be?
Tumbleweed (“Russian thistle”) is found in the southwestern desert states, although it’s not native to the US. It’s thought to have arrived with a load of flaxseed from the Russian Empire in the late 19th century. It is one of the most invasive plant species, partly because the mature plants a) have thorns - - see your bike rider in the video! - - that keep grazing animals away, and b) break off at ground level and blow all over the place, spreading the seeds.
Although I read last week that Utah and Nevada had millions of tumbleweeds blowing in with strong winds, I never visualized that until I saw your video, Splinter . We worked in Arizona for 6 months in the late 90’s and wanted to bring a tumbleweed home as a souvenir. On our daily morning run, we looked for weeks before finally finding one (and gingerly putting the prickly thing into a large trash bag for transporting back to the apartment).
Here’s a video showing removal efforts.
Perfect landing.
Glass recycled into marbles in the only marble factory in South America!
That’s great! I hope they stay in business for years to come. Do kids still play with marbles?
Seems I have missed out on Tierra Santa.
Anyone visited?
when did it open?
The visit was sponsored as declared. I have no issue with that but it leads to articles being somewhat over-written because that is naturally within the art of the writer.
Let’s be clear.
This visitor was met at the airport with every aspect of their itinerary planned.
But, planned as her visit was, it looks as if she forgot her blouse.
