Pictures of November snow in North Wales.

That first photo is so lovely it made me want to be there.
Until I remembered how miserably cold the beautiful snow is - -

Makes me proud to be Scottish.
That's how a roof should be built....not like the ones you get here. -

Built by the Laing family. Good bunch of blokes. And they also make a nice dram.....

I no longer regard flying as a pleasurable experience, except when I've cleared customs and can see the green letters of the exit gate.
Sergey feels the same.

Doesn't social media love a good gossip story, whether it's true or not?
One story doing the rounds from indignant Argies is that government employees and their families, no less, are exempt from paying the 30% non-redeemable tax on air tickets etc.
See here:
However, this has been found to false (fake news) as the tax exemption referred to is a different one, DNT of 7%, which has been around since 1958. The new 30% tax, grossly unfair that it is, is known as Impuesto PAIS.
It's also worth pointing out to Macri defenders that his administration increased the DNT tax from 5% to 7% and plans were afoot to increase that yet again to a whopping 15%. Add that to the new PAIS tax and what would you have?

We've visited Eastnor Castle near Ledbury, Herefordshire and it is truly spectacular. Here's a very interesting article by the Hereford Times.

Guess which one?
Herefordshire town one of the most difficult to pronounce in the UK
Hint: I used to live there.

I used to live near Elephant and Castle in London and the 60s shopping centre will soon be torn down. Will the community spirit survive?

Well, Leominster and Happisburgh gave me problems, but Belvoir Castle REALLY threw me.
you Brits should learn your pronunciation in the US. In Arkansas, Connecticut or Illinois, perhaps. Or in Louisiana locales such as Tchefuncte, Nachitoches, Tchopitoulas, or Bogue Falaya. -

Like hampster, you mean?
