Can't give you an answer about women....I gave up years ago.
As for the ARG peso. All I know is it's as desirable as the rouble or rupee.....enough said.

Wtf is a dollar Coldplay?
I’ll attempt to answer this, although I’m pretty sure you know more about the situation than I do, @serafina .
When Coldplay was negotiating a contract for its concerts in Argentina last Spring, their agents required payment in a hard, “real” currency. So ticket prices were fixed at the official dollar rate for pesos plus a 35 per cent special levy.
Thus was born the “Coldplay dollar,” for paying performing artists and sports stars from other countries.
Desperate for dollars, but fighting the inevitable devaluation of the peso, the government has seized on any opportunity to keep the peso artificially cheap. These opportunities seem especially focused on transactions using foreign currency: additional fees are levied on these, in an attempt to curtail the appetite for dollars. Hence the “Netflix dollar” (extra 50% for those streaming from abroad) and last Spring’s “Qatar dollar” whose rate (double the official) effectively punished those going to the World Cup. There also is or was a “soya dollar” to encourage more soy exports. Reuters tracks these various exchange rates, which, a few months ago, numbered 17.
Unbefreakinlievable.

Which is why Argentina is, and will always be, a freakin economical shambles.
Having said that. I reckon they've got so used to things being as they they couldn't handle being 'normal'.

I’m all too aware I have still to follow up on my promise to detail some specific UK card transactions here in the last 4-5 weeks. I have delayed posting because one of them has had a query over it and I wanted to wait until my query (with a hotel) concluded. It has concluded and it has not concluded and so that transaction will form part of my post.
Guidance from Splinter please as to whether I can name the hotel. I will detail the transaction truthfully and without embellishment
Please do.
