"We're going to win the battle against inflation, amongst all the other problems we face..."
I hope these are not empty words in an election year.

I like Macri and think that he has genuinely been working to undo the criminal damage done to the country by the K’s. But I found this weird.
“Hey, I just happened to be in the neighborhood and randomly chose a house, knocked on the door, and sat down to chat with the (unsurprised) family?”
Still think what needs changing is the way most retail companies are allowed to operate. Open up competition, especially from abroad. Prices will come down and product quality will improve. Domestically produced products are especially overpriced for their quality. Bought a lump of fresh Pategras cheese the other day which cost over 250 pesos....it had the consistency and taste of rubber.
Pategras is almost industrial in its lack of flavour. The best cheese can be found in those small corner shops that we call delicatessens.
(And what is it about Pategras? I’ve had some that was tasty, some reminiscent of raw calamari, and some too bitter to eat - yet all was called Pategras -)
Argentines find it palatable because they have such bland taste in food. yesterday I bought pan de campo - proper bread and had beans on toast with a fried egg thrown on top - delicious.
Queso de campo is excellent too. In fact anything de campo is better than the rubbish in Coto et al. The Campos are doing very well, in fact.
Perhaps the answer for Mr. Macri is to install Sr & Sra Campo in high government positions and instruct them to work their magic!

I've had similar experiences with Sardo as well as Pategras. Just when you think you've found a producer that produces a good cheese the next time you buy it you find it's nowhere near as good as the previous one you bought. Some Pategras have lots of holes others have very few, some have strong taste others don't. I wouldn't mind so much if I was paying buttons for it but it's ruddy expensive. The Pategras I bought the other day was Gauchito so wasn't some plastic wrapped stuff from the supermarket shelf.
Same can be said for many fresh products.
We were so happy that day! Remember when he broke into (pretty uncoordinated, but still joyful) dancing?
