Hello everybody,
I just wanted to remind you that this Friday we have a national holiday.
What about a ride on the Caballito's historic tramway?

A ride on the Tranvía Histórico is a fun, free weekend activity for all the family. The historic trams/streetcars, lovingly maintained by Amigos del Tranvía (friends of the tramway) association, run on a two-kilometre loop in Caballito on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The British magazine Tramways and Urban Transit included the circuit in its international top 12.
It was the arrival of the tramway that led to the growth of this neighbourhood in the first half of the 20th century, and near to the tramway's starting and finishing point, you can find a residential area known as the Barrio Inglés, or English neighbourhood, because of the style of the large houses, which have been declared protected buildings by the city government.
The stop is at Emilio Mitre 500, and the tram runs at the following times:
December to February: Saturdays and public holidays, every 20 minutes from 5pm to 8.30pm. Sundays, everty 20 minutes from 10am to 1pm and from 5pm to 8.30pm.
March to November: Saturdays and public holidays, every 20 minutes from 4pm to 7.30pm. Sundays, every 20 minutes from 10am to 1pm and from 4pm to 7.30pm.
Free.
