I'll just stick to the Gordons. Strangely enough despite liking gin n tonic because it's so refreshing gin is something I have never bought here.
Some of the pubs I used to frequent in Glasgow you'd never dare walk in and order a 'G&T with a slice and ice'.

I used to like Gin, but it never liked me.
But what's always puzzled me is why I could never find a decent pint of draught bitter in Scotland and over more than 30 years, I've travelled the length and breadth of the country.
Lager seems to be the beer of choice and yes, you can get kegged John Smith's or similar. But not real ale. Why is that?

Not 100% sure but when I was younger the older beer drinkers I knew - rightly or wrongly - always associated 'real ale' as being flat with no head. Which is something that Scots beer drinkers don't seem to like.
