I got this this morning - apparently it's doing the rounds on different social media.

The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so the United States can open the Strait of Hormuz that was open before the not war.

The not war that started to get the uranium that was completely obliterated, so that the Iranians can’t build the nuclear bomb that they weren’t building for the not war that the United States started.

Then the United States, which has nuclear weapons, is threatening to use nuclear weapons to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons because having nuclear weapons is dangerous.

If the United States saw what the United States is doing in the United States, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.

The many ironies underscore the fact that the USA has never before even approached these depths. Aghast, ashamed, and deeply apologetic, I nevertheless am curious about the origin of this apparently unsigned post appearing on social media.

It was ridiculous that they conceived of the idea of a $100,000 per month subscription plan to have priority access to pre-released news made by the President and staff. Plus it was a scheme to get more people signed up for Trump owned Truth Social which has been sinking in visitors (both robots and humans).
Since no branch of government or government leaders did anything to block yet another attempt to destroy freedom of information, finally some citizens have brought the appropriate civil suit to the courts.

    Quote

The service gives paying subscribers faster access than the general public to posts from 10 of the platform’s highest-profile accounts, including Trump’s own account, as well as those of the vice-president, JD Vance; press secretary, Karoline Leavitt; and other senior officials. Subscribers pay $100,000 a month, or $60,000 a month for a three-year commitment.

    Quote

Trump has a history of using Truth Social to disclose market-sensitive news, including posts on tariffs and the war on Iran, which have triggered swings in stock and oil prices.

Although he has done many things far more harmful to people (giving the green light for ICE to abuse and victimize immigrants, cutting off medicines and food supplies to poor countries, ending healthcare subsidies to people in the US, etc etc etc), this scam might be his most blatantly illegal on for self-enrichment through pay-for-play. His crypto gambit may be the most lucrative, netting him more than a billion in 18 months, but selling insider trading info somehow manages to break more norms and laws.

    The Self-Made Emperor: Trump's One-Man Presidential Rankings

    Written by: Mencius Koay

Somewhere in the White House, someone printed out a chart, and put himself at the very top!

One day, he woke up and decided he is the best United States President, ever!
Above Lincoln, above Washington, above all!

And he put at the bottom tier, under "Failures," Biden, Obama and Carter, which is not a surprise considering how envious he is of them, and also poor Ulysses S. for reasons that remain a mystery to basically everyone except Trump.

Actual historians, in a recent surveys, have ranked Trump dead last. Worst president in the country's history, by their count.

Presidential rankings already exist. Historians do this. Scholars survey each other, argue, average it out. So instead of waiting around for that verdict, Donny skipped the whole process and released his own final grade... as the one taking the exam.

Which, honestly, might be the most on-brand thing he's ever done. Grade your own homework. Give yourself an A+. Frame it for the world to see.

In the same vein as the chart posted above by GlasgowJohn , this video was played Thurs night at trump's 2-day convention in Dallas. I puts his former exhibits of hubris in the shade.

Challenge: can anyone find a morsel of truth in this pile of erm, fantasy?
