DAVOS—In a much-praised resolution to a roiling diplomatic crisis, on Wednesday Denmark offered Donald J. Trump “full ownership” of a room in an assisted living facility in Greenland.
The deal was orchestrated by French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, who were seen high-fiving moments after Trump signed the admission form.
Speaking to reporters, Carney said that Trump’s new home was actually located in Iceland, not Greenland, but added, “We’re pretty sure he doesn’t know the difference.”
For his part, President Macron acknowledged that the agreement represented a compromise, noting, “Our first choice was an ice floe.”

Melania Trump's documentary has flopped spectacularly with empty theatres and cancelled screenings. I fact one reviewer posted that if it had been shown as an in-flight movie, everyone would have walked out 
And get this, the Amazon MGM production cost over US$75m with Melania reportedly pocketing about 24m! She should have just stayed in the background with her Spy vs Spy hats!
Amazon basically paying Trump. $40 million for the rights to the movie, which included the $28 million upfront to her before filming began. Another $35 million for marketing the movie. It was all just a payoff to get on the good side of the press-elect immediately after he won the election, yet before he took office.
Technically, paying the president-elect’s wife this much money – Melania reportedly pocketed nearly $30m of Amazon’s initial $40m outlay – was legal, because the first lady isn’t part of the government. She’s just a private citizen who happens to be married to the president and happened to receive a multimillion-dollar check from a company with many government contracts through its web services and other divisions. Healthy democratic stuff!
