The smell of money

This is all beyond belief. Before this, the strangest thing I’ve heard of in this category was our not being able to register the SUBE cards because we didn’t have DNI’s. Maybe the cinema is afraid there will be some expense or red tape associated with your foreign cards?

I spoke to a small store owner here. He says if there’s a chargeback from a local, you can fight it (with signature etc).

If it’s from a foreign card, you can kiss your money goodbye - the processor is not going to give you the time of day.

That explanation helps clarify the picture.

The article says this could be fully operational by 2027. At least on the surface, it looks like a very good opportunity for Argentina to not only sell its LNG and expand green energy production, but to reduce its methane emissions.

And it is a major agreement with a non-China business partner.

Haven't seen anything in the press here. Very strange.

Waiting for the right moment to gain maximum benefit from the publicity maybe? Could be all bollocks as well right enough....the ''could be fully operational by 2027'' bit being the clue.

Well, it only took them a decade to get the Vaca Muerta pipeline sorted . Apparently it is not totally sorted though....

With the vast resources they have it's sad to see what a pitiful state the economy is in. I used to watch what I said when certain people wanted to know what I thought of Argentina. Now I just tell them the truth....a country run by idiots.
