In UK general elections the results are read out in a very calm British way and the candidates all stand in a row, normally on a small town hall stage and in some cases there's a weirdo candidate who has every right to stand for parliament (like Screaming Lord Sutch) and all are equal in the eyes of the law.
It's why I love Britain.
