It sure seems as if it should be the other way around: take in one of those little stacks of bolivares, and come out with a truckload of chickens.
Seriously, even if Venezuela shaved 6 decimal places off of their currency, it would be awkward to carry around all you would need for a simple purchase - IF you had any money, that is. And IF the stores regularly had necessities for sale.
Not to mention this: Where would you keep it? Not in a bank. And not safely at home.
No wonder the average person there has lost 22 lbs this year. Isn't there anything the world at large can do for the people???
