The Santa Fe town of Ceres managed to unpack, unfurl, attach and then finally hoist the unmistakable Falkland Islands flag on July the 9th - Independence Day in Argentina.
The town council issued an apology, but no reason was given as to how this mistake was made, or indeed how anyone could possibly have mistaken the red, white and blue (plus sheep) for the smiling sun and the light blue and white of the national flag.
Either this was a prank or the flag hoister in chief was blind, or possibly drunk. Delicious either way.
