A shame that Scotland had such a rough time and I remember watching their games at a friend's house in Portsmouth, with Archie Gemmill's goal being unforgettable. His determination was outstanding.

We were all behind Scotland's Tartan Army at that time and on reflection the impact it had as a nation was remarkable and for many, life would never be the same again.

On the other side of the coin, let's not forget how Videla and the rest of the military junta used the event for shameless propaganda, whilst murdering innocent people outside the stadiums.

We're currently clawing our way through Leaving Neverland (HBO only), the controversial documentary about two boys (7 and 11 at the time) who were allegedly abuse sexually by Michael Jackson.

It's received some horrendous reviews, with many saying that it's just another money grabber, with much of the content being bullshit.

It's four hours long, we're about a third the way through, so I'll reserve judgement until it's over, even though it's pretty disturbing stuff on the whole and raises more questions than it answers.

The Aeronauts, about a weather scientist and a female balloon enthusiast who in 1862 rise up to 36,000 feet in a hot air balloon is entertaining and may induce vertigo attacks.

The only disappointing aspect is that the female lead is based on multiple women characters and parts of the story just don't fit or have been included for a modern, inclusive audience. PC in other words.

They say truth is stranger than fiction and the Aaron Hernandez documentary certainly bore out that point of view.

He was the all-American son of a Puerto Rico immigrant who became one of the youngest football stars on the NFL, even reaching the Super Bowl due to his speed and catching ability.

I won't spoil why they made a documentary about him, suffice to say that it's both riveting and tragic. I'd never heard of him before watching it, but I can see why there was such a furore at the time.
