Following a year of strict lockdown, COVID detention centres and a feudal governorship, people have had enough and opened shops and restaurants in defiance. The state also put the quarantine back to phase one until the 18th of March, but this has simply been a catalyst for demonstrations against the Formosa government run by Insfran since 1995. Even the tear gas used apparently had a sell by date of 1995.
UN Human Rights is furious and Alberto Fernandez is said to be worried, but the worst of all are the detention centres, something the BA Times makes little of.
