Same reaction here. Found it riveting but nothing approaching enjoyable. I’m almost hoping there’s no Season 4, because if there is, we’ll be the moths drawn to the flame.

Speaking of dark, my kids recently requested I bing the German show Dark with them. I went in cold and completely underwhelmed by the general information they gave me about it. Still, it proved to be excellent and one of the richest plotted shows I remember in recent memory. Also, contrary to the consensus on Dark, I found the plot easy to follow.
Finally got around to starting Dark, Semigoodlooking . Yikes! Your kids were into it? We pushed through the first season and part of the second, then cut our losses. Had I known that time travel was involved, I wouldn’t have started it, as I’ve never enjoyed either time travel or constant, confusing flashbacks.
But I’m completely open to hearing what you liked about it, if you can remember after all this time! Sorry it took me so long to get around to it.

We're at the end of season two of Dirty John, which is the Betty Broderick story and it's a slow burner but gets its hooks into you, particularly the 'gaslighting', but I don't want to spoil it.
Based on a very true story by the way and a stunning performance from Amanda Peet, who I'd never heard of before. Christian Slater plays her husband.

Do I star in it or is it my lookalike?

Finally watched Rita, a Danish series centered around a free spirit who seems to be much more successful with the students she teaches, than she is in managing her own relationships.
Seasons 1-3 are outstanding; 4 is a stinker, but 5 partially regains the energy of the first three. Definitely enjoyed it.

I echo the reactions of serafina and Splinter about Borgen. Thoroughly engrossing. Hated to see it end.
There should be a new season in 2021. I am not sure how the characters will look like after 10 years!

I'm on the last episode of Borgen and while I don't usually watch dubbed TV, this is without doubt the most realistic and well synced dubbing I've ever listened to. The use of regional accents really works and suits each character perfectly. I too hope for a new season because the relationships and interactions between politics and the media is what keeps this series so interesting.
We're also watching Carmel: Who Killed Maria Marta?, which is murder documentary set in a gated community in Pilar, which took place in 2001.
A remarkable story, that's all I'm saying.

Spanish with English subs.

Watching it now....
Saw The Queen’s Gambit start to finish in 3 nights. Dark but excellent.
Then for something lighter, we watched
Jack Whitehall Travels with my Father.
We laughed out loud, from the first episode to the last. Not your average travel show.

I'll definitely give that a go tonight.
I've just finished Secrets Of The Saqqara Tomb which was incredible, seeing mummies, statues and artefacts that no human has seen for over 4000 years.

Can’t help my addiction to The Crown. Watching the newly released Season Four now.
Yikes! I can certainly understand why the Royal Family hates their collective portrayal. But for all us commoners, it is a fabulous escape from 2020.

It's even more tragic than I ever thought.

What? The Royal Family? Or my addiction?

What? The Royal Family? Or my addiction?
The way Diana was treated and how Charles carried on with Camilla and the whole damn thing really.

True. Also that 3-adjective description of the Royals by Dennis Thatcher. Dead on.
