Not common at all. After Hurricane Katrina demolished so many neighbors in New Orleans in 2005, there were some built because they were inexpensive, quick to build, and an alternative to the dismal govt-supplied little caravans. But most people need enough room to stand up, stretch, cook and LIVE, so the idea didn’t catch on.

The episode I watched yesterday was on a similar scenario. A California couple had their home destroyed during the California fires and were living in a motor home a friend lent them. Moving to a tiny house was their quick way to stay on their land and live more comfortably.
In this TV series, bedrooms are always upstairs and there is not enough space to sit on the bed. There is usually a raised window in the ceiling, and there you can sit. I wouldn't definitely want to get sick in a tiny house.

(And think about simple tasks like making up the bed -)

Everlast didn't exactly help Mary though...

I’m hurting myself from laughing so hard. First with the photo of the unfortunate anachronism, GlasgowJohn , and then with Splinter ’s wry observation.
So, besides that highlight, is Reign worth watching?

Andes Magicos is fascinating and has some the best cinematography I've ever seen in a documentary.
Best viewed in 4k on a big TV.

We caught this one by accident last night . The first episode was slow but we did the whole 8 with a bottle of Malbec.
We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Series 2 is out and we might do that tonight.

The End of the F***ing World
I quite enjoyed both seasons. There is just two and I think there won't be anymore. Can you understand where it is located?
I was convinced it was in the US because of the forest, but the police uniform doesn't match.
Maybe Canada?

A series on the experience of Maradona as trainer of the Dorados de Sinaloa the capital of the Mexican Drug Cartel.
The man is quite unique and I can't stand his political views not his personal lifestyle, but he comes across as truly genuine in football. It doesn't seem rehearsed and I believe it won't be possible to convince the guy to say what should be said instead of what he thinks, anyway.
Maradona, afflicted with arthritis, is still the best player in the history of football. He does what he wants with a football ball (and in life, for what matters).

I read somewhere that The End of the F***ing world was filmed in Kent, serafina . Since both you and GlasgowJohn like it, we’re going to give it a try. Just reading the promo, we wouldn’t have given it a glance.

The Crown is classy, as expected and we'll have a look at The End Of... when we've finished that.
I've just finished The Devil Next Door, about the trial of John Demjanjuk aka Ivan The Terrible, accused of being a sadistic Nazi prison guard at Treblinka and Sobibor death camps.
Quite rightly the documentary makers didn't pull any punches when showing the true horror of what took place in those extermination camps, putting the accusations against Demjanjuk in full perspective.
At times it's heart rending, particularly when the survivors speak, but it's also highly detailed with many unexpected turns, if you don't know the actual events.
