My first anti Government protest!!

My husband wanted to go to the Obelisk and I forbade him. He spent the afternoon looking at the march on TV, yelling like it was a football match and saying "This at least gives me a glimpse of hope for this country".

I think he is delusional.

You know that the new justice reforms are all part of the deal that Queen Bitch made with Albert don't you?

I've been on several of these since about 2011 and I'm not sure how effective they are, but at least it's better than doing nothing.

Besides, I don't think anyone will forget 2001 which proved that people power really did bring about a change.

Must admit as a foreigner I felt a bit awkward being there, which probably showed at the get together at the starting point. I no longer come out with diplomatic replies when questioned about life here.

Here's an open letter from Dr Mario Caponnetto to the cabinet chief, Santiago Cafiero in reference to the latter's apology to the medics for not having been able to prevent the protests of yesterday.

D Santiago Cafiero:

En el día de ayer, 17 de agosto, trascendieron unas declaraciones suyas sobre la multitudinaria marcha que millones de argentinos protagonizaron en protesta contra el gobierno que usted integra. De acuerdo con los medios usted se dirigió a los médicos para pedirles perdón por no haber podido evitar la marcha que, según sus cálculos, nos ha puesto a todos en un grave riesgo de contagio del virus SARS -CoV- 2.

Soy médico con cincuenta y cuatro años de profesión. He ejercido la medicina, de joven, en el interior profundo de la patria; luego en centros hospitalarios prestigiosos de nuestro país. A lo largo de este dilatado tiempo pude comprobar, año a año, la decadencia del sistema de salud de la Argentina, cada día más ineficiente gracias a la incompetencia y a la corrupción de todos los gobiernos que hemos padecido, particularmente de los que han pertenecido o pertenecen al partido político que usted representa. Esta ineficiencia ha costado y cuesta vidas.

Por eso, no me tiene que pedir perdón a mí, señor Ministro. Pídale, en primer lugar, perdón a Dios por ser parte de un gobierno que promueve el aborto, la anticoncepción masiva y la hormonización de niños según los dictados de la ideología de género.

Después pídale perdón a los argentinos por faltarles el respeto, por haberlos encerrado durante cinco meses por la única razón de no tener un sistema sanitario preparado para una emergencia: es que su gobierno, Sr. Ministro, y los que le precedieron, se dedicaron, e insisto en el punto, a hacer abortos, repartir misoprostol y, siguiendo los dictados de los organismos internacionales, promover los tratamientos de cambio de sexo hasta el abominable extremo de hormonizar niños.

Es a ellos, Sr. Ministro, a quienes debe pedir perdón.

Y que Dios y la Patria lo perdonen.

Therefore, you do not have to apologize to me, Minister. Ask God, first of all, for forgiveness for being part of a government that promotes abortion, mass contraception and the hormonalization of children according to the dictates of gender ideology.

Then ask the Argentines for forgiveness for disrespecting them, for having locked them up for five months for the sole reason of not having a health system prepared for an emergency: it is that your government, Mr. Minister, and those who preceded you, dedicated themselves, and I insist on the point, to perform abortions, distribute misoprostol and, following the dictates of international organizations, promote sex change treatments to the abominable extreme of hormonal children.
