I’m having trouble getting my mind around the skull as a celebration of life, but if it works for them, bravo.

Confirmed!
Motorcycle riding makes you happy.

Just wearing a “skullcap swarming with electrodes”
would keep me from feeling anything approaching happiness.

SURVEY SAYS 31% OF MOTORCYCLISTS WOULD STOP RIDING IF ELECTRIC REPLACES PETROL
Electric simply wouldn't be the same.

Ford has just announced that it will unveil its new electric version of the F-150 pickup truck, North America’s most popular vehicle.
If truck-driving cowboy wannabees take to an electric model, I’ll bet bikers will too - -

If you saw the Long Way Up, I think Charley Borman and Ewan McGregor might have different opinions to "Electric simply wouldn't be the same"
Admittedly they did struggle at most points, mainly because of the lack of charge points

I've been following Noraly, the Dutch girl who has been riding around the world on her bike until she got stuck in Peru in March last year. She's currently in S Africa, but previously had been in Argentina and she writes a great blog with her YouTube videos being spectacular.
She really is a lovely person, always smiling and full of adventurous spirit.

She is indefatigable, isn’t she? Splinter , are you already planning a ride on that back road from Humahuaca to Salinas Grandes?
I did the ride from Cachi to Cafayate on R40 in 2016 and as you know, it's a gravel road with a lot of soft sand which makes the tyres dig in and on a custom bike like mine, traction is not good.
It was only about 135 kms but it still took me over eight hours due to the difficulty in maintaining traction. My bike isn't suited for off-road, so when I can afford it I'm considering a change to a more versatile bike.
Noraly always rides off-road bikes so she can go virtually anywhere. She used to have a Royal Enfield Himalayan (maybe still stuck in Peru) with chunky off-road tyres which she used all over Russia and Asia.

We drove that Cachi to Cafayate washboard in a car; can’t imagine what it would have been like on a bike.
Are you familiar with the back road she took to Salinas Grandes? I remember the main road - - glorious scenery with all the switchbacks.

We did that part in a car a couple of months before I returned on the bike, but I didn't have time to detour that far.
