I had a copy of that book gifted to me by my doctor years ago.

How could I live till now without it
Scandinavian kitchen stuff is one of the thing what I miss the most here......I'm totally afficionate with cooking tools since I cook a lot......and seriously the Danish and also Finns have some incredible stuff.....by luck I had a lot shipped here back in time in my container.
Btw the double glasses cups and glasses just arrived here......I have always used in Europe last 15-20 years......now u can buy in Coto. I love the ones for coffee.....nothing better than making a great expresso and seeing it in a glass cup.....

At one time I was hoping that IKEA might arrive in Argentina? It's practically an institution in Britain and you can buy some great stuff at even better prices.
instead we're stuck with EasyNot and SodiCrap.

Splinter ....
Keep on dreaming.....u think Ikea wanna put the hole company at risk for that?
So funny to think about, the Ikea stuff I would catagorize as luxury quality here in Argentina.......really beats nearly any of the stuff u can buy here!!!!!
When I shipped my container back in 2010, I went a quick tour by Ikea before, bought a whole kitchen and loads of other stuff! The kitchen I have, I would say it's impossible to get here......same quality and standard, (Ikea give 10 year warranty on most parts).

My wife bought a fleecy bed cover at the start of winter.....mainly for one of the dogs to dirty as he has a habit of sneaking entry into the bedroom and going to sleep on the bed. Although far from top end it certainly wasn't cheap.
As I suspected it's already showing signs of wear typical of some Chinese crap you'd buy for a couple of quid in a UK street market.

Good deal indeed. I'd be round to Coto like a shot if we had one. Of course what I'd like to know is what make of coffee do you use? Shite is never going to taste nice no matter what type of cup you use.

UK Man....
These are my two ones I use, (it's a money question......can't afford to buy Italian stuff).
Both are decent, when u buy the beans and grind yourself......no sugar added...
Now the bonafide is round 1150 and the 5 hermanos 1000 un coto , pero kilo ....don't know how much a kilo is in stones, inches or Fahrenheit, sorry hahaha
Again, this is what u can get for "normal" money.....I think the Martinez stuff is like 3 or 4 times the price!!!!
I see a lot beans on mercadolibre also, but I have never tried......I always buy the beans on the smell.....always works for me!!!

I've had the 5 Hispanos and it wasn't bad. I avoid Bonafide and Martinez as you pay 100% extra for the name. All down to personal taste of course but whenever we go to Buenos Aires I stock up with Segafredo ground in Disco which costs 174 pesos for 250gr no sugar added of course.
Both the red and the black packets are decent. Always wanted to try Gimoka but they never have it when I go.

Today I stopped at the Coto on Cabildo y Juramento, it is not very big but usually carries the coffe I use for my moka (Cabrales in the purple bag).
There was the small bag (250 g) for $174, the 500 g was out of stock (it is the one I use to buy, I believe it was like $270 15 days ago), and the 500 g beans was $582.
Small bag, ground coffee, 250 g, price per kg 696 pesos
Big bag, beans, 500 g, price per kg, price per kg 1164 pesos ALMOST DOUBLE and I have to do the grinding. WTF?!

Maybe people pay extra for the snob appeal of having the good taste to grind their own beans?!

Cute little guy, reminiscent of a wooden toy in a museum.
Most of the reviews appear to have been written by the same person, presumably the inventor.
And then there’s the one that says it’s not that easy to use - but it arrived quickly!

Now THAT is pathetic.
